Next Ventures are currently hiring for an IT Project Manager for a 12 month project based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Candidates must be based in South Africa in order to apply for this position.
Duration - 3 months + extension
Location - Johannesburg, South Africa
Start date: ASAP
Rate - ZAR per day
Language - English
Required Skills:
5 years project management experience
Local in South Africa
Experience in working in international environments and Matrix organisations
Significant knowledge and experience with infrastructure projects (setting up networks and communication links, server environment, office infrastructure/phone systems, installing 3rd party applications etc.), including ordering equipment and managing vendors like telecoms providers
Application/development projects (business requirements gathering, project planning, testing)
Project management certification, eg PRINCE2 practitioner
Very good communication ability, comfortable representing the project at senior levels
