SAP NetWeaver & Portal Consultant
I am seeking candidates with SAP NetWeaver and Portal experience. Ideally, qualified candidates have experience applying these skills in a Human Capital Management (HCM) environment.
My Client has multiple positions available at various levels, from Consultant to Practice Manager.
The successful candidates will deliver consulting services serving as implementation consultants or team leads on my Clients consulting projects or as expert consultants on individual engagement in the NetWeaver area for there consulting projects. In addition, the individual will help grow the NetWeaver practice.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Serving as an implementation consultant and/or team lead on SAP NetWeaver and Portal projects.
- Configuring SAP Portal applications
- Managing projects on SAP Portal related initiatives
- Understanding SAP Portal requirements and configuring SAP to meet those requirements
- Ensuring that all the business requirements are met by validating the configuration repeatedly
- Providing expertise in requirements definition, configuration, testing and production support
- Taking initiative to establish relationships with customers to foster knowledge transfer and proactively advise on issues.
- Expanding the NetWeaver practice through activities such as providing content for marketing brochures, participating as a subject-matter expert in sales calls, providing proposal assistance in your areas of expertise, and assisting in the interviewing of potential practice resources.
- Participating in company growth and development by proactively sharing knowledge and assisting in internal projects such as developing demos and delivering external presentations to support the sales team.
- Playing an active role in ensuring the quality of services through serving as a team player and being committed to customer satisfaction.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/Computer Science/Business Information Systems or related field
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and Portal
- 3+ years of SAP NetWeaver and Portal development/implementation/configuration experience
- Several full life cycle projects completed
- SAP HCM exposure is an added value
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch/French
