Resource description
Understanding of Datawarehouse development in general
Understanding of the BIW concept
Knowledge of BIW Source Systems
Knowledge in Unix and Oracle platforms
Good competence in English
Delivery
Work with test and support to the test team in Powercenter.
Report to the test manager
Development
Responsible for building the solution including:
Physical implementation of the solution in the ETL tool (PowerCenter/PowerExchange or Cobol or EZT+) including loads & data flow
Make sure that the solution supports the physical aspect of the business requirements today and as far as possible also in the future
Make sure that the solution uses all existing reusable objects that are available
Design and develop any possible reusable object
Produce flow models.
Participate in deploying the solution
Request assistance from BIW support roles when needed
Make sure that the solution follows necessary requirements regarding quality, security, performance etc.
Test
Participate in test including:
Define test cases and acceptance criteria
Responsible for unit tests and participate in system test & acceptance test
Validate results and responsible for locating reasons for incorrect result in system test and acceptance test
