C++ Developer, Telecommunications
Location: Sint-Niklaas, Belgium
Planned Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
Daily Rate: €500.00
Working as an experienced member of the Embedded software team participating in the design, specification, implementation, testing and bug fixing of the software features for a specified Product Line.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate the defined architecture in a detailed design, implement and test of the components
- Produce and execute unit and integration tests
- Debug problems and resolve root cause
- Document code, solutions and test cases
- Take up ownership of a specific system component
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences or Telecommunication) with minimal 1 year of relevant experience in Telecom
- Common software design practices: modular/OO programming, reusability, unit tests, continuous integration, UML, code refactoring
- Knowledge and experience in C, C++ & Linux development - 1 year
- Experience in writing efficient code
- Knowledge of IP and related protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc)
- Familiar with telecomms concepts (eg routing, scheduling)
- Excellent written and spoken English
