GREAT contract to perm opportunity for a solid IDM Systems Administrator to join a world-class, respected, prestigious company in the Atlanta!

In this role you will provide technical expertise in implementation and support of Oracle IDM solutions in our Production environment to meet Identity and Access Management business goals. Work with Business Solutions and system integrators to ensure a robust scalable solution. Candidate must have direct, recent experience with Oracle IDM modules at an enterprise and application level for our customers. Designs and implements access management solutions to meet company productivity and security objectives using the Oracle Identity Manager, Symphony (Legacy system), and custom Federated single sign-on. The focus for this role is in the Production Support capacity, however, this candidate will provide technical leadership and participation in all aspects of IDM projects from early phase proposals through, design, code, test, implementation, as well as maintain.
Candidate should be able to work in an Oncall rotation and work off hours to perform system maintenance and implement enhancements. Candidate should have knowledge of application modules, upgrades, installing patches, trouble-shooting and resolving application problems, performance tuning, capacity planning, server administration, architecture and migrations. The candidate filling this position must have demonstrated the ability to support the key modules in the Oracle IDM product suite and knowledge of Linux operating systems. Also included is support of the Legacy Microsoft Identity Life Cycle Manager (ILM) until it is decommissioned (planned for 2014).

This is a hands on role and the will have responsibility for configuring and supporting the larger complex Oracle IDM environments and verification of other applications dependent upon this infrastructure. The resource filling this position will also work closely with management to understand current and future project needs and how they will affect the production environments. This role will also be responsible for drawing on their knowledge and experience using Scripting to offer alternative solutions to unique IDM requirements.

POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge of the Oracle IDM technology modules such that issues are identified and resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Thorough understanding of IDM, user provisioning, Managed access and issues surrounding authentication and authorization.
  • Responsibility for the resolution of issues affecting the IDM production environment and key functions provided therein - provisioning, federated single sign in, identity & access governance and attestation.
  • Understanding and experience in Oracle IDM application problem resolution.
  • Configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting Oracle IDM application components.
  • Experience in utilizing various application and system performance monitoring tools to resolve system issues.
  • Develop methodology and project plans to ensure that IDM application environments are maintained up to date.
  • Monitor system capacity and work with management and infrastructure teams to secure system resources to ensure production and new projects have the environment necessary to succeed.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of IDM systems.
  • Review of new technologies and tools and make recommendations to management.
  • Implement changes to production system.
  • Implementation of Oracle Identity Manager developing standards and processes to support them.
  • Develops cross-functional technical relationships and utilizes them in the implementation of solutions.
  • Participates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of third-party access solutions.
  • Identifies potential areas for process improvement.
  • Stays current with relevant access technologies.
GENERAL PRODUCTION OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Think clearly and abstractly, in high pressure situations, to resolve critical issues.
  • Communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner.
  • Articulate and provide convincing arguments around business/technical decisions or direction.
  • Adapt response to a given situation and appropriately articulate technical language with the customer.
  • Perform most tasks with minimal direction from management. Be flexible and willing to work off-hours.
  • Liaison between architecture, application development, project managers, network infrastructure, server engineering, and support teams.
  • Represent the team or group at technical and status meetings as required.
  • Lead technical discussions to determine new application developments and/or changes within current application infrastructure.
  • Assist in the development of application project-specific work plans and the level to which tasks can be performed.
  • Timely communication of concerns and issues that may affect the production environment, project schedule and/or user acceptance of the developed application to product manager and project manager.
  • Respond to critical events after business hours.
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them.
  • Perform and assist others with root cause analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical staff to design solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Maintain status of issues and their resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Participate in relevant post mortems following high severity issues.
  • Adhere to change management and system development life cycle policies and procedures.
  • Serve as resource to implement projects plans addressing objectives, timeframes, preliminary testing and post production support of complex software applications.
  • Serve as a project resource to successfully complete assigned tasks on time and on budget.
  • Perform audits of the environment to identify deficiencies of standards, performance and availability.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
  • Maintain current Disaster Recovery documentation and create new documentation, as necessary.
  • Maintain and increase knowledge and proficiency of appropriate technical competencies.
  • Stay current on new technology and propose ideas to the team and management that improve efficiency or effectiveness.
  • Work with vendors to evaluate products and solutions that might improve or enhance the services provided by the team.
  • Prepare and assist with business case documentation for capital investments in new technologies.
  • Execute technical presentations to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
  • Prepare status reports for current activities and projects.
  • Prepare reports regarding the operational state of the environment for managerial review.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical events after business hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years' experience of strong Oracle IdentityManager (OIM), Oracle Virtual directory (OVD) and Oracle Access Manager(OAM) with experience across design, installation, configuration, deployment troubleshooting, and support.
  • Experience in designing and deploying enterprise data integration solutions, including experience with User management/User provisioning solutions implementations.
  • Hands on experience in authentication methods, access mgmt and SSO methods (SAML 2.0), tuning and maintenance.
  • Applications integration, workflow design, connectors, reconciliation, reports, attestation.
  • Integration experience with Oracle DB, Active Directory, other apps.
  • Overall 5-8 years of IT experience with solid experience in building, deploying and supporting large scale application solutions.
  • 2 years' experience in a Linux environment including the ability to create scripts needed to maximize efficiency and leverage automation opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with team members from other areas to accomplish common objectives.
  • J2EE, Java, JSP, XML, LDAP, SQL, Linux background.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Processes Change, Release, Incident, Problem management.
  • Ability to carry out the responsibilities of this position with little direction.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
