Job Description:

• Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Network Engineer to participate in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of large and complex voice systems. This position is within the Voice Engineering team.

Duties include:

• Performs or manages large voice system design upgrades, hardware, and software reconfigurations.
• Participates in evaluation of vendor proposals, conducts voice system studies and traffic analysis, develop voice system architectures, and recommends modifications to the voice system configurations that reduce costs or improves services.
• Serves as a high level technical resource on large-scale voice communications issues and problems.
• Support all CSAM modules and circuits within the voice systems, execute change into the above environments via the change control process, assist on mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or any voice system related issues.
• Participate and/or lead enterprise level projects from an engineering perspective, responsible for creating/updating voice system designs, responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and researching industry best practices.

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection.
