Our Storage Technology Leader client is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to serve as part of team responsible for design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging, and implementation of applications programs in support of various functional areas. As an entry-level Information Systems Engineer, you will receive support and direction from management and more senior Engineers as you build your technical expertise and understanding of operational standards and procedures.
The qualified candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to support deadlines. Success in this role requires a creative approach to problem solving and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge in SAN filer implementing and supporting SAN boot Servers, Cisco MDS SAN Switch and zoning, IBM Blade HS22 hardware, ESX VMWare, and Cisco Networking.
This is a 7 month contract opportunity in RTP, and you may be offered a FTE opportunity in the future. Superior technical and professional environment; casual attire. A solid career-building opportunity!
