Our client is a leading news website looking for a Community Editor to join their talented team.

Our client is a 24/7 operation bring the most important stories across News and Sport, including Finance and Travel.

Reporting to the Head of Social, the community editor is responsible for making sure the readers are represented - whether that's on the website, via mobile and social platforms and that their voices are heard in the newsroom among editors.
From individual stories to big specials, the community editor will work with the Head of Social to ensure we involve the audience as much as possible in our editorial process, making best use of our on-network and social tools to engage our audience.
The overall goal of the role is to improve and increase the value of audience involvement in our content, increase engagement and help drive increased referrals from social.

The successful candidate will have:

- Proven experience of executing stories in social
- Deep understanding of social.
- Experience of understanding metrics.
- A clear track record, with an emphasis on news, sport and lifestyle content
