A leading marketing company in London is currently seeking an Account Director for 12 months maternity cover fixed term contract. Under the guidance of the CRM Director, you will take full responsibility for the development and profitability of one or more company clients. Working across two key accounts, we are looking for someone with real drive and the ability to manage a busy workload. You'll have real autonomy in this role and be expected to help bring insight to their business and develop their relationship with our client.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Client relationship management: being able to understand our clients' businesses - their goals, their strategy and their market and to continually demonstrate how you can add value
Internal team management: to ensure that a consistently high quality service is delivered to the client through the planning and management of day to day activity.
The team goal is to develop and maintain mutually profitable relationships with the company's clients:
By ensuring that the company consistently provides an excellent operational service
By delivering insight that challenges the client's thinking and helps to develop their business.
To develop an annual plan for each client & to manage the account to meet these goals
To work pro-actively and in a challenging fashion with senior members of a client's team to help develop their business.
To co-ordinate all jobs/activities in progress for a client, whilst taking responsibility for the management and delivery of certain key initiatives
To forecast and report on client revenue and profitability
To support and manage junior members of the client team, with specific responsibility for the day to day workload of account managers and account executives
To hold internal and external client reviews on a quarterly basis.

Your Skills & Experience:
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Prior experience as an AD or senior account manager
A good understanding of Database Marketing and CRM
Data literacy and experience of marketing systems/technology
Experience of working within a marketing services business or within a marketing services team client-side
The ability to build and maintain solid client relationships and the ability to acquire new business and develop client business for the company
Experience of managing people and excellent written and oral communication
Presentation skills are key and you should be competent with PPT, Word and Outlook.
Management and motivation of client team and ad-hoc supervision and mentoring of junior staff
Comfortable with project costing and a good eye for numbers
