Site Design engineer (Rigging)

My client is looking for Site Design Engineer with knowledge and experience on Rigging, to join their project in the UK.

Candidates Must have a Full UK Driving License with their own Vehicle.

Responsibilities

RIGGING

  • Liaise with relevant Procurement groups and suppliers to ensure supporting products for feeder systems, including (but not restricted to): BiasTs, jumpers, TMAs, diplexors, splitters/combiners, antennas and RET are supplied and meet the Client's requirements.
  • Responsibilities are to ensure any new or updated specifications are documented and approved by all relevant working groups.
  • Documents will need to be version controlled and stored in the relevant shared data base
  • Support the "New Product Introduction" process (NPI) for all relevant Infrastructure product development: including but not restricted to, feeder systems, BiasTs, jumpers, TMAs, diplexors, splitters/combiners, antennas and RET.
  • Provide first line support to the regions on site-specific queries any approved new or improved product or process relating to feeders or associated feeder system equipment
  • Liaise with Procurement, Logistics and relevant Engineering Design groups to ensure an efficient programme and cost effective option is attended against for best interests of the business.
  • Ensuring equipment design and process documentation is produced and maintained in a controlled manner and is stored in the appropriate secured areas.

Technical Competencies:

Candidates Much Have experience in the following areas:

  • Structural; towers; civils; AC power; DC power; Environmental design; rigging; antenna line systems (from BTS to antenna) including testing; antennas; feeder systems; RET systems
  • Working at height/climbing certifications valid and in date.
