Description
Desired Experience
Exposure to the concepts and provision of configuration management products, understanding of the ITIL configuration mgt principles in one the following service lines:
- Intel, UNIX, Mainframe Server Management
- Business Applications
- Data Management
- Asset Management
Understanding of at least three of the following operating systems:
- Windows NT, UNIX (AIX, Solaris, Linux), Windows server
- Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
- Initiative and enthusiasm
- Good networking skills with vendors and technical specialists.
- SQL and Database Concepts (DB2 preferred)
Required Technical Skills
- Configuration Management tools (TADDM, CCMDB)
- Change/incident/problem management tools.
- Software Servers (DB, Web, Middleware)
- Distributed Server Environments
Required Non-Technical Skills
- Initiative and Enthusiasm
- Work under pressure
- Good networking skills with vendors and technical specialists.
Other Information/Special Conditions
- Must be willing to work after hours and weekends when required.
