We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Project Manager with strong focus on Infrastructure Technologies and Desktop Hardware/Software to join one of the world's largest and best renowned IT & Management Consultancies to work onsite at a number of their prestigious Client Organisations managing large infrastructure.

Our client is one of the world's foremost IT & Management Consultancies, a company with over 120,000 people in more than 100 offices spread over 65 countries. Technology Infrastructure Services is one of their biggest divisions, counting amongst its clients well over 50% of the World's blue chip companies. The role at hand is to work with a number of their most clients in South Africa where they are working on a number of projects across technologies and locations; the role at hand will be the project manager for large, infrastructure projects, revising and implementing networks and communication links, server environment, office infrastructure/phone systems, installing 3rd party applications etc.
The role will suit a skilled and experience Project Manager with a wealth of knowledge in the infrastructure space that will be charged with the following:
v Managing and Mentoring Engineers and Architects;
v Coordination with Offshore Team;
v Milestone Tracking;
v Workplace processes;
v Project Delivery and Maintenance
v Team Leading and Interfacing
v Stakeholder Management and Client Liaison
In order to succeed in this role the right candidate must have the following experience and skill set:
v Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Project Management
v Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Infrastructure Technologies
v Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Desktop Technologies (Hard/Software)
v Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Networks and Communication Links
v Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Server Environments
v Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Prince 2 Methodology
As well as the above, we require someone with exceptional: Communication Skills who will be able to liaise and manage the client's expectations as well as be the key onsite interface between the consultancy and the client.
