Description
A Core Networks Architect is required by our Client to create a technical implementation plan, in collaboration with their vendors, which will provide an effective solution, dependencies, cost, timeline etc. for their Core evolution.
Role:
- Create a technical implementation plan for the Client's Core evolution ensuring that it meets business requirements and performance goals
- Lead the architecture effort for small to medium sized projects or forming part of an Architecture team for large projects
- Act as a functional and technical expert
- Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance to the target architecture throughout the development life cycle
- Capture, document and maintain the current architecture across Core Networks working with different delivery units.
Requirements:
- Architectural knowledge around the functional aspects, interdependencies and solutions is required across the following products: MSS; HSS; HLR/CSDB; PCRF/PCEF; EPC (Note, detailed engineering knowledge is not required.)
- Architectural knowledge of the Ericsson products is key
- A strong understanding of LTE and enablers is essential
- Experience and knowledge of the Mobile Telecommunications industry an advantage
- Experience of large-scale IT/Telecoms projects including full development life cycle and project management according to best practices
- In-depth knowledge of current technologies, tools and industry trends.
