Our client, one of Europe`s leading Energy providers who design, develop, construct and maintain offshore wind parks, are currently in the market for a well versed Quality Control (QC) Inspector to oversee Nacelle fabrication.

The key requirement will be to control the quality of the nacelles and the hubs of our turbines. The blades will be manufactured by Siemens and the contracts are due to be signed between them and our client.

The right candidate will have an academic background (i.e. mechanical engineering) coupled with the experience of having been present during the production process on site overseeing/witnessing materials going into the Mall.


Responsibilities :

* Be present during nacelle fabrication together with the Quality Control (QC) inspector of producer in Denmark
* Be present during final test and check protocol
* Check NCR and check NCR solution
* Be present during hub manufacturing (Denmark)
* Compare gearbox protocols of Winergy factory with reality in Brande factory
* Check randomly the TU/PU manufacturing, which is also located in Brande


Experience needed :

* Experience as wind turbine inspector (erected turbines).
* Good knowledge of the design and structure of a nacelle.
* Good knowledge of problems arisen in wind industry with nacelles.
* Intercultural Awareness (understanding of Danish working culture)
* Advanced IT tools and methods
* Good German and English language skills
