Campaign Marketing Manager - Reading - Financial Services - 3 months

On behalf of my Major Financial Services client based in Reading I am looking to recruit a Campaign Marketing Manager for a period of 3 months.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing it will be your role to:
* Contribute to the creation of the annual [Area] Marketing Plan and the relevant marketing propositions * Ensure all marketing activities (both online and offline) cover the appropriate audiences and distribution channels - F2F sales teams, telephony advisers/support teams, all advisers, end-to-end customer support (pre- and post-sale, mandatory and promotional) and direct marketing (both product and brand response)
* Keep fully up to date in respect of competitors' [Area] marketing activities ensuring you use this knowledge to define and create market-leading items- propose and implement new marketing ideas
* Working with all Digital marketing areas, maintain and update the relevant [Area] web content
* Use the relevant customer segmentation, targeting and analysis techniques to determine and implement the most effective propositions and marketing approaches for direct sales
* Work closely with Direct channels and call centres to ensure consistency of marketing messages, effective integration and a first class customer experience

Experience:
* Significant marketing experience, with specific experience in financial services marketing -for some roles in some teams, this will require significant end-to-end direct marketing experience
* Good understanding of the Financial Services market place and changes that will impact distribution
* Good appreciation of the needs of different distribution channels, sales experience preferable
* Good knowledge of [Product] products, legislation and the competition
* Proven Supplier, project and budgetary management
* Good multi-media experience (sales aid, online, trade press advertising and promotional campaigns)

Skills:
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities
* Ability to manage expectations and ensure visibility of delivery issues and barriers
* Ability to work and lead effectively in a team and Matrix/project environment
* Translation of brand values into effective communications for key audiences
* Activity, project and budget planning and management
* Tenacity with regards to delivering communications with associated targets
* Good at building relationships across functions
* Ability to cope and adapt to change and uncertainty with the business
* Ability to inject fresh ideas and creativity into the wider marketing team
* Strong commercial skills
