An excellent opportunity has become available for a Finance Business Partner to assume an initial 6 month initial contract based in Dorset.
The successful Finance Business Partner will undertake a range of finance tasks, supporting senior stakeholders of the HR business area to manage their financials and FTE effectively, ensuring alignment policy and reporting deadlines, liaising closely and regularly with the Area Executives.
To be considered for this position the successful Finance Business Partner be required to:
- 60% - Analytical support, data quality control, accounting entries, other support:
o Daily monitoring and performance review of costs and FTE
o Producing monthly executive summaries and ad hoc reports
o Building, discussing and gaining agreement to the RAF and budgets
o Reconciliation of monthly accounts, providing detailed CVAP evidence for INFORM
o Maintaining control on mandates and expenditure
o Face to face reporting to exec on business performance
o Challenging performance/variances
o Management of Organisation Management (FTE) tool - 10% - Provide financial control and governance around the Group Benefits schemes
- 20% - Ad hoc support to HR Finance Business Partner and wider Finance team to include HR wide strategy (ie business case production for active projects), production of quarterly functional data, production of ETA quotes and analysis.
- 10% - Liaising with external providers to ensure prompt and accurate payment of invoices and maintaining control at all times of budgets. Raising of purchase orders and one time payments. Liaising with business to ensure that preferred vendors are used and policy is adhered to.
To be considered for this position the successful Finance Business Partner will have:
- Working towards accounting qualification (preferred)
- Advanced Excel and SAP Finance
- Working to tight deadlines and under pressure
- In depth awareness of trend analysis and ability to spot issues and raise alarm bells quickly and appropriately
- Working with senior stakeholders
- Good understanding of Financial Control
