As a Project Manager (Port & Harbour Logistics) you will play a key role in the strategic planning, preparation and delivering of a solution for the Galloper Wind Farm construction and marshalling facility.

The Project Manager must have the capability and experience necessary to:

-deliver a commercial & technical solution for the Port & Harbour Logistics facility

-provide leadership to the Port & Harbour Logistics Package team

-accept day to day accountability for the delivery of Port & Harbour Logistics Package .

-demonstrable, in-depth level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies.

Principal Accountabilities:

-Support the development of the Galloper project during all phases of the offshore Port & Harbour Logistics package by providing leadership and expertise.
-
-Establishment of agreed contracting and procurement strategies specific to the offshore Port & Harbour Logistics.

-Development of technical specifications in accordance with the above strategies

-Negotiation of contracts for the Port & Harbour Logistics of the wind farm

-Negotiating and managing a contract or set of contracts covering; design, installation and commissioning.

-Managing the technical, operational and interface aspects of the contract and ensuring the designs comply with the specification.

-Management of a contract or set of contracts to meet the project budget, including preparation of forecast reports and management plans.

-Development of risk management plans for a contract or set of contracts as part of an overall project risk management strategy.

Knowledge and Skills:

-A Project Management professional, ideally with project management qualifications and membership of an applicable association.

-Significant, demonstrable leadership and management skills.

-Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management and Delivery of Port & Harbour Facilities in either the Offshore Wind Energy industry, Port & Harbour Mangement or Oil & Gas.

-High level of communication skill and results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and produce clear and concise information/ options/decisions to senior management.

-Demonstrable, in-depth level of competency in delivering large scale construction projects.

-Demonstrable, high level of competency in delvering contracts associated with providing Port & Harbour Logistics facilities.

-Good knowledge of current UK health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly the application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007
