Technology focused firm in Alpharetta has an immediate need for an Infrastructure Engineer for their growing team! This is a six month contract-to-perm position with excellent long term growth and potential! Candidate must have experience managing and supporting multiple operating systems, environments and applications. Candidate must have expert proficiency in Linux system metrics and tools as well as designing and supporting networks, including Firewall configuration. Must have experience provisioning and configuring a variety of Servers as well as experience with network, server and application security. Must have deep experience with HTTP and Internet applications and services and the ability to analyze, dissect and re-engineer existing solutions. Excellent time management skills are imperative to your success as there are a lot of tight deadlines and numerous unplanned interruptions.

Ideal candidate has a solid mix of Unix/Linux, Storage and general network experience.

Ideally seeking 5+ years with the following:

• Linux Admin Experience (RHEL & CentOS server installation experience).
• Data center experience in a production hosted facility.
• HP Hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Hardware upgrades (RAM, CPU, HBA's).
• Extensive experience with kick start.
• Exposure to vulnerability assessment SW (Qualys) and security patching.
• User management ( Kerberos, openLDAP).
• Scripting using bash, ksh, Perl, or python.
• Xen virtualization.
• Apache & Tomcat configuration and maintenance.
• LVM management.
• Patch management.
• Networking.
• Configure Linux and windows IP parameters.
• Configure, troubleshoot VPN clients.
• Add/remove web Servers on the load balancer.
• SSL certificate management.
• Troubleshoot site-to-site VPN connections.
• Configure, troubleshoot bind DNS Servers.
• Configure, troubleshoot Windows DNS Servers.
• Storage (SAN).
• General SAN experience with Enterprise SAN solutions (Hitachi, NetApp, EMC, HP).
• Understanding of iSCSI & fiber channel connections.
• Understanding of NFS connections.
