We are looking for a senior well rounded SQL Server DBA for a lead role on our DBA team. For this opportunity, you will help our team with a variety of tasks including daily maintenance of databases and Servers, the deployment of SQL code/scripts in to production, assistance in the installation of new SQL Servers, monitoring, and other day to day DBA responsibilities. For this position, you will need to have at least 8 years of recent SQL Server DBA production and development DBA experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 and experience with Windows Server OS . We also have SQL Server 2012 deployed as well as we have over 40 Servers. Any experience with the idea tools for SQL monitoring and support tasks would be a plus. Also, any experience supporting Datawarehouse Servers would be a plus. You must have solid senior level skills on both the production side as well as the SQL development side. Very sharp technical team that will challenge your skills and great group with which to learn and grow. Six month contract to hire position with full benefits - medical, dental, life, and 401K provided through MATRIX. Cobb County location.
