Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Credentialing specialist position to coordinate completion of the CAQH application form and submission process for physicians and allied health professionals within a large multi-specialty group practice. Must have comprehensive knowledge of credentialing requirements and exceptional organizational skills. Experience working with the CAQH Universal Provider Datasource is preferred. Position will also assist with primary source verification, filing, and data entry into Cactus database during peak work periods.
Hours and days: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am -- 5 pm (although different hours can be negotiated if necessary)
Experience Requirements:
3 years credentialing experience in a managed care setting; would especially consider a candidate with CAQH application & database experience although this is not required.
Scope of the project:
Primary responsibility is completing CAQH applications for Ohio Medical Group practitioners, coordinating the review & signature by the practitioner, obtaining required attachments, and submitting to CAQH for application completion. May also assist the Credentialing Specialists with credentialing and recredentialing in times of heavy workload.
