Assistant Account Manager
Daily Activities:
- Request status quo renewal from Regional underwriting prior to receiving RFPs and complete any associated benefit exception requests, as appropriate
- Evaluate 3RG and actively participate in RFP strategy call to understand group specific strategy, particularly when NA RAMs (Regional Account Manager) is unable to attend
- Effectively and proactively manage the alternate quote and regional benefit exceptions process, including determining when benefit exception is necessary and appropriate
- Take primary lead in attending huddle calls to understand exception requests, with NA RAM participating as needed
- Manage the regional RFP process, including ensuring RFP benefits sections and benefits templates are completed accurately and that the group strategy is captured
- Support NA RAM in responding to EAM questions and in collecting documentation for regional rate review on an as needed basis
- Submit Case Installation paperwork in a timely manner and proactively confirm rates and benefits are properly loaded in regional Case Installation systems
- Conduct Microsite review and approval, including benefit summary verification
- Participate with RAM in developing the regional engagement plan
- Coordinate RAM meeting needs for customer facing engagement, employee engagement, and other meetings on an as-needed basis
- Order appropriate customer marketing material
- Assist in obtaining competitor data
- Take lead in submitting invoices for payment
- Develop and enhance local market partnership relationships (ie, meeting coordinators, enrollment specialists, etc.)
- Develop and enhance external regional customer relationships (ie, via phone and email contact where appropriate)
- Support RAM in updating SalesConnect with 365 and face-to-face activity

Hours and days:
- Monday through Friday - 8 am start. Possible overtime as needed

- 1 Year minimum experience required in a health care plan setting.

- Supportive team environment working directly with an AM in support of an assigned BOB. Work space is a cubicle.
