Description
Due to expansion, we require an experienced, confident and self-managing Management Accountant to join our Lincoln team on a fixed term contract.
This will be a fast-paced role and the successful candidate will need to be prepared to "hit the ground running", using their existing skills from a similar job role. The role will provide support to the Finance Manager with a number of tasks, in addition to compiling a number of specific reports on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will:
- Assist with all areas of month end reporting for the business
- Budget forecasting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Provide analysis of various inhouse costs (ie corporate mobile telephone) and make/implement recommendations based on the findings
- Assist with the maintenance and administration of various reports
- Cost analysis and investigation
- Balance sheet reconciliation and management of certain accounts
It is essential that anyone wishing to apply for this role is AAT/ACCA Qualified or a finalist. Applicants without this cannot be considered. They must be a logical thinker with the ability to question others, and obviously have a keen, analytical eye for detail. Commercial knowledge will be a distinct advantage to those applying.
