Wastewater Network Planner with extensive water industry experience required for 7 month contract in Inverness to start in January.

The main duties of the role are, to review RCA (recurring chokes, pollution, flooding and CCTV data on sewers performance and Grade 5 condition sewer issues), information collected from sewer models, feedback form CSD TL and other sources including LA to determine sewer network investment needs scope.

The Network Analyst will be required to collate GIS information, observations by field staff and PROMISE records; together with Asset Risk Models and Hydraulic models to identify high consequence and high risk sewers. They will then use the information to confirm, where capital and operational maintenance activity is required to maintain customer service. By pulling together these multiple information sources and using their technical expertise they will identify where further data investigation CCTV or other work is necessary to confirm Waste Water Infrastructure Capital Maintenance needs scope and its estimated costs; as part of ongoing Investment Planning Capital Maintenance Programme Build.

The role will also involve identification of gaps in GIS sewer records and co-ordinate work to improve these records to help inform future CM Planning.

The role will also include investigations to confirm Sewer Network License compliance and any gaps in current assets against CAR SEPA standard license template requirements.

The role holder will have a good understanding of the various corporate IT systems MS

Office, Ellipse, (training will be provided), GIS, PROMISE and other Tactical Applications

used by AIM.

They will have strong communication skills, as well as sewerage system technical analysis/problem solving skills.

They will be required to work as part of wider team to integrate data and people's knowledge into robust information captured in corporate systems.
