Electrical Commissioning Engineer/Site SupervisorWhat are my Principal Responsibilities and Deliverables?
* Responsible for supervision of construction activities and electrical commissioning of the client systems on site, including:
* Working with the project delivery teams to deliver contracts to scope, within budget and programme and to a level of quality and safety that maintains or enhances the company reputation, including safe working on site and strict adherence to MBOS, particularly as it relates to site management.
* Commissioning of electrical plant/systems, purging, fault finding, site investigations and modifications/rectification, workshop inspections of subcontractors, and witness tests
* Commissioning of mechanical plant, purging, fault finding, site investigations and modifications/rectifications
* Training of client in the operation and maintenance of specialist areas such as electrical units, instrumentation, HMI, control.
* Assistance with process commissioning, commissioning of complex plant, production of commissioning plans & other commissioning documents, method statements, electrical drawings and schedules, ATEX inspection documentation. A focus on achievement of contractual take over must be maintained.
* Supervision of all personnel working on site on behalf of the client, including subcontract staff, and ensuring they have the appropriate qualifications and training
* Assistance with production of O&M manuals.
*Maintenance of accurate records of all site based activities/workshop activities
* Regular reporting to Project Manager of site, construction and commissioning issues.
* Provision of advice to Client Project Teams on Health & Safety Matters, and feedback on changes/modifications made to plant during construction and commissioning.
