Description
EMC Engineer - Lightning Effects Specialist required for a leading Defence & Security company based in Boscombe Down, Salisbury to be responsible for the safe and effective conduct of specific test and evaluation tasks relating to military aircraft and weapons within project teams. E3 encompasses all electromagnetic disciplines including Electromagnetic Compatibility, Electromagnetic Interference, Lightning Indirect Effects and Electrostatic Discharge.
The successful candidate will have experience of evaluating military aircraft from an EMC and lightning perspective, knowledge of compliance with specified EMC and lightning design standards and knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility, Electromagnetic Interference, and Electrostatic Discharge. E3 knowledge, Rotary aircraft experience, an understanding of electrical power generation & distribution systems and experience working in or with MoD/HM forces would be beneficial.
