C# developer working with large investment bank based in Paris that manage a range of complex credit derivative products. Strong Back End SQL experience. 6 month extendable contract.
The C#/SQL Back End developer will be responsible for maintaining existing applications, liaising with business analysts and project managers, translating requirements into technical specifications and developing solutions.
This is a hands-on C# development role which includes the design, development and deployment of solutions for portfolio analysis, management and risk.
The leveraged portfolios make significant use of credit derivatives and require a set of customised tools that are not available from off the shelf applications.
Skills:
* Development C# and SQL applications with Credit Derivatives
* Experience with Credit derivatives
* Integration of Credit Derivatives products (Cds, Cds Index)
* Development and maintenance of data integration and presentation components
* Back End SQL experience
* Understanding and alignment with existing system architecture
* Translation of business requirements into technical design
* Documenting requirements
* Code refinement and performance enhancement
* Data sourcing, mining and troubleshooting
* Object Orientated development
* Detailed component design and development,
* C#, SQL Back End development
* Use of design patterns and Test Driven Development

This will involve close cooperation with business partners and the IT development and support teams.
