Working in a small team to provide financial support a Pharma organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and report on monthly results for local, helping to provide financial insight to budget holders and other stakeholders.
Working with budget holders and other key stakeholders to ensure strong control and understanding of expenditure.
Own and co-ordinate the planning and forecasting exercises for responsible areas, driving to provide an effective, accurate, timely and efficient planning process.
Act as a Business Partner, use of key performance metrics with advice, analysis and strategy for monthly reporting, quarterly planning.
Continually strive to implement efficiencies and improvements through the use of SAP and other systems to provide meaningful and easy analysis.
Build strong links with European Medical organisation so that both parties understand the work and support requirements they need of each other.
Ensuring appropriate internal controls, tax and accounting rules/Sarbanes Oxley compliance in all financial processes.
Provide proactive business support, training and analysis in normal tasks as well as in the varied ad hoc projects that arise.
Support local, regional and global Six Sigma projects which involve supported areas.

Essential Skills:

Qualified Accountant
Strong degree 2:1 and above
Advanced Excel and Financial Analysis
Strong interpersonal skills
Understanding of financial contracts, reporting and compliance
