The Role

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in Business to Business IT Sales or IT Education/Certification Sales to join their fast paced and rapidly expanding education and enablement team.

This is an 6 month contract opportunity with the possibility of a renewal and or permanent role for the right candidate and is based in the Melbourne CBD.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and advising customers on their education requirements across the ANZ region.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative education and certification campaigns.
  • Assist with the creation of education and learning plans for their Enterprise and SMB clients
  • Represent and generate leads at the organisation trade shows and events as required
  • Promote new educational programs and developments
  • Achieving sales performance targets
  • Collaborate with their education operations group to ensure sufficient courses are scheduled to satisfy demand.
  • Build relationships with internal sales and technical teams
  • Campaign and event follow up

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience in the IT industry
  • Experience in IT Education/Certification/Training will be a plus (not essential)
  • Proven ability to communicate value proposition and win business in the Enterprise and SMB space
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities across Channel Markets, System Integrators, Distributors & OEM's across ANZ region.
  • Must be driven, confident, self-motivated and determined to succeed
  • Be able to adapt successfully in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills
