My client a leading Queensland employer is looking for a System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) support person to join their team on a 9 month contract basis. The successful candidate will act as a primary support analyst for enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies.

Your key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles for enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies.
  • Follow troubleshooting checklists and standards related to enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies.
  • Recommend service improvement actions.
  • Act as support subject matter expert for enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies.
  • Drive knowledge to operations and 1st level support.
  • Resolve Incidents escalated from 1st level support.
  • Collaborate with support staff from other technologies as required.

The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to recognise security issues with the network and to communicate issues to management as required
  • Proven ability for providing expertise and support on use of methods and tools associated with enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies including in installing or removing hardware and/or software, and associated connections, using supplied installation instructions and tools and conducting tests as required
  • Proven ability to carry out agreed operational procedures and tasks and contribute to the implementation of maintenance and installation work including the ability to recognise and identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience in receiving and handling requests for support following agreed procedures including responding to common requests for support by providing information to enable problem resolution and promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate.
  • Proven high level written, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
