Online Merchandising Manager / eCommerce Category Manager / Web Trading Manager required for the eCommerce team of a fast-growing Fashion Retail organisation.

The Online Merchandising Manager / eCommerce Category Manager / Web Trading Manager role involves being responsible for the correct execution and the on-going improvement of product merchandising on this retailer's high traffic website. This role is also responsible testing new ideas and initiatives whilst driving the high standard of customer-facing online sales tools so as to improve the customer experience and commercial value of the site.

The Online Merchandising Manager / eCommerce Category Manager / Web Trading Manager will:

Manage the timeliness, quality and accuracy of all onsite merchandising including product details, images and promotional media Liaise with the creative team to deliver, learn from and improve visual merchandising Liaise with the Insight team to scope and interpret web analytics to drive merchandising improvements and increase customer sales conversion Liaise with the Buying team to review and refine the quality and presentation of offers, promotions, seasonal events and sales Create business cases for development of new website selling tools Personally develop insight and contributing to analysis as required

The Online Merchandising Manager / eCommerce Category Manager / Web Trading Manager must have:

Proven experience of working within an eCommerce environment - ideally fashion Highly organised and professional, able to manage expectations in a pressurised environment A strong motivator who is not afraid to be persistent in order to get things done Extremely competent communicator whether in conversation or presentation Strong influencing skills, willing to drive the uptake of new initiatives borne out of insightful analysis

Our client is a well known, successful and fast-growing Online Retailer who are a Market leader in their space. This is an initial 6 month contract that had the potential to extend.
