Project Manager with Claims
Position will support the implementation of infrastructure and deployment of a national Claims platform. This project will consolidate all Claims systems throughout the regions and streamline business practices across multiple departments and functions.
Leads the delivery of a highly complex project(s) while maintaining a tactical focus. Sets clear objectives and defined deliverables. Develops cost benefit analyses for the project, communicates to leadership level as required. Reports project status utilizing a dashboard, allocates resources across the plan. Ability to lead a cross-functional team while motivating team members to their highest potential. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Interfaces effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Effectively utilizes external vendors and internal resources. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
Essential Functions:
Identifies workstream issues & risks and develops detailed mitigation plans
Responsible for timely escalation of high impact issues
Effectively maintain and build relationships across business groups.
Basic Qualifications:
Ten or more years Project Management experience, working directly within a PMO
Demonstrated competency managing projects in framework for a large program
Expert proficiency in the analysis and classification of complex risks
Experience in managing a healthcare claims implementation
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of additional equivalent related work experience required
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to effectively influence people.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMI certification
Experience working with Agile methodologies
Experience using Project Server and MSProject
Experience with the financial components of a claims platform.

Start/End Dates or Start/Duration: 11/5/12, one year, renewable.
# of Staff per Position: 1.
Hours & Days (assuming M-F, up to 9 hours/day and 45 hours/week).
Travel: up to 50% travel, mainly between CO and CA although may include travel to regional locations.
Team: part of a large fast-paced team. Will report up to a program manager and workstream lead within the program PMO Matrix. Will not manage others on the team.
