My client is a large Blue Chip Financial Services client and are looking for an experienced SOX Compliance Manager to assist and support in the delivery and maintenance of the SOX environment, delivering the control activities and general computer controls. The successful candidate will manage workstreams which include scoping, documentation, quality assurance, remediation, training and workstream governance. You will ideally have experience in applying the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley act within Financial Services organisations. Some practical experience of working with risk and control frameworks, and working knowledge of COBIT and some practical auditing experience.

Experience

  • Experience in applying the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act within Financial Services organisations (with particular focus on the IT requirements)
  • Practical experience of working with risk & control frameworks
  • Working knowledge of COBIT
  • Practical IT auditing experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in developing and delivering training materials
