Outsource UK is looking for a SC Cleared systems Engineer for a 6 month contract in Kent
Working with our leading defence client you will be required to work as part of a dynamic application team that supplies, installs, tunes and tests hybrid-electric drive systems for public transport busses.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of:
. Applying mechanical and/or electrical skills within the automotive industry
. Performing Engineering Tests in support of system development, system integration and vehicle certification activities, including type approval for compliance with European Union regulations and directives
. Performing tuning of vehicles to provide an optimal solution for fuel economy, emissions and driving performance
. Performing investigations into in-service equipment failures to determine root cause
The contract is initially for 6 months with a view to extending further.
