Web Developer, HTML, CSS, Jquery, Javascript, PHP, XML, XSL
I am keen to speak to Web Developers for a 6 month contract based in Manchester.
Role
The Web Developer is responsible for the development of web sites using CSS/HTML and web applications using PHP. There will also be a role in providing general support for content developers.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Specifically the Web Developer will be expected to have:
- A minimum of 2 years web development experience
- Development experience with HTML, advanced CSS
- Development experience with JQuery and Javascript
- Development experience with PHP
- Experience of developing templates for one or more web content management systems such as Wordpress, Joomla or similar
- Experience of working with XML and XSL
- Experience of cross platform testing
- Experience of coordinating/working within project environments
- An understanding of best practice within the web environment
- An ability to apply styles and existing designs to raw content
- An enthusiasm to learn new technologies including HTML5/CSS3
