My client is looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join there Aberdeen based team.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK, and have extensive experience with offshore facilities.
My clients preferences are;
* 15+yrs
* Preferably chartered
* Proven lead experience
* Detail design and operations support experience
JOB SUMMARY:
*Provide specialist technical/engineering advise and support to onshore/offshore personnel
*Ensure work is completed in compliance with corporate standards and SESR policies & procedures and industry regulations.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical/Functional -
*Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment
*Provide specialist technical engineering support to Facilities Engineering teams and other functions as required, ensuring work is completed in compliance with corporate standards and SESR policies & procedures and industry regulations.
*Analyse and resolve production/process issues. Review studies undertaken to enable technical decisions to be made and ensure timely resolution of issues.
*Proactively monitor, review and analyse process/production equipment performance to identify opportunities to maximise production & performance and also to share best practice across both UK and overseas operations.
*Initiate and deliver technically sound and innovative solutions to ensure continuous improvement to deliver improved process systems and equipment performance.

*Undertake regular offshore visits to liaise with operations personnel.
*Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders eg OIMs, Field Managers, (Joint Venture Partners), O&M teams, etc. and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
Degree in Chemical Engineering/Science or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Relevant experience of process/production operations (within the oil and gas industry)
Proven track record of identifying and developing sound and innovative technical solutions
Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplines eg instrument and controls, electrical engineering (beneficial).
Technical proficiency in IT programmes/systems eg Excel, process engineering software
Familiar with UK industry regulations relating to the oil and gas industry
Effective relationship-builder at all levels, internally and externally
