Description
Voice Design Engineer required for a great long term contract opportunity in Chennai, India. Our global client requires a consultant to provide internal design and support services to the Regional Project Managers and technical governance to the client's delivery partner. This is not a hands on role but will heavily involve Cisco Voice Solutions (Call Manager) and be involved in client Network review design set up. You will be able to provide support over the phone and must have excellent written and communication skills.Responsibilities:
1. Provide design and support services ensuring proposed solutions align with the client's technical standards and business requirement
2. Review current Network configuration including LAN, WAN and DHCP and recommend changes required for the migration
3. Advise and support Regional Project Managers in large/complex migrations
4. Assist in the resolution of any migration issues
5. Provide regular status reports on tasks accomplished, current issues
Mandatory skills:Know-how and experience on Cisco Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN design, Carrier, PSTN Services
Know-how and experience on Cisco IPT Voice Infrastructure
Sound knowledge on VOIP technology and deployment in enterprise environment
Experience on enterprise solution design and familiarize with Change and Design governance
Minimum 5 years' experience
Preferably possess CCNA and CCNA Voice qualification
