Senior Architect currently required by a Tier One bank for a contract role based in London.
Working on a Greenfield project, this is a unique opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated individual to have involvement with architectural change within the bank.
This person will be responsible for assisting different divisions within the bank develop their business strategies and give advice on new technology.
Working with delivery partners, it will be this person who will be expected to review on-going designs of major programmes to identify strategic opportunities and resolve design issues during delivery.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver complex and material business architecture and designs to influence senior sponsors or stakeholders to realise overall design outputs. Defining, maintaining and enhancing best practice and standards in business technology architectures on behalf of the group will also be a pivotal part of this role.
For this role, it is imperative that all applicants have a background in financial services and are experienced in managing complex business and change programmes.
As well as this, the minimum expectation is that the successful candidate will have expert skills in business architecture in order to be able to lead complex architectural tasks unaided, an expert knowledge of either the business or technical domain and have the ability to influence, support and manage senior business and technology (delivery & infrastructure) stakeholders up to and including senior managers.
