SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) Release 7.3 Specialist -
Our client, a well know IT Consulting company is curretly looking a for SAP BW Consultant with experience in the SAP Banking area to join them at their northern American implementation team
Responsibilities:
- Definition, conceptual design and development of a SAP Business warehouse as central platform for staging, reconciliation, aggregation, adjustment and reporting within a Liquidity Risk Management Solution
- Responsible for requirements gathering and analysis
- Performing blueprint workshops with client staff and end-users to understand and determine functional requirements for the central SAP Business warehouse in the Liquidity Risk Management Solution
- Translation of user requirements into specifications (FRS, FAD)
- Design, development and configuration of SAP Business warehouse solution to meet client business requirements
- Developing reports and dashboards utilizing Webi
- Knowledge transfer and training of end-users
- Performance optimizing, Perform analysis and tuning of the BW environment
- Documentation of determined requirements, design decisions and development tasks
- Knowledge transfer and assistance with training activities
Required Skills
- SAP Core Experience in SAP Netweaver 2004s - Business Intelligence (BI 7.0 or higher)
- Experience in conceptual design and development of SAP BW solution
- Experience within the SAP BW module, including the building and configuration of data objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources/Data Sources, Master Data, Transformations, Update Rules, -DSO, Infosets, Aggregates, Process Chains, User Exits and BI extractors
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW Tools such as BusinessExplorer (BEx), Query Designer, BEx Web Analyzer, BEx Broadcaster, Report Designer, BI/BW Web Reporting
- Knowledge of SAP ReconHub and experience in design and development of reconciliation solutions (preferred in financial sector)
- Good understanding and troubleshooting ability for BW
- Experience in analysis and configuration of authorizations/roles in BW and test with reports and users
- Knowledge in performance tuning for source data capture/data source extraction and staging
- Experience in problem solving, debugging, and unit testing
- Experience in analysis and usage of business content for customer needs
- Experience in Query design, Process chain creation, User exit development and Aggregation and Archiving functionality
Preferred Skills:
would be beneficial to have experience/knowledge around:
- Knowledge of SAP Bank Analyzer
- Adjustment process in SAP Bank Analyzer
- Knowledge of Liquidity Risk Management
- Knowledge of Data Services/ETL
- Knowledge of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC)
- SAP Business Objects on SAP BW experience, Integration of SAP Business Objects to SAP BW and SAP Bank Analyzer environment
- Experience in conceptual design and development of Business Objects solution using SAP BW as data basis
