Voice and Network System Engineer - Cisco (CNE), Nortel (VoIP), LAN/WAN.
My client develops and manages server environments based on Nortel, Cisco and Ascom/Tyco equipment within their network infrastructure. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience of these technologies as well as very good general LAN/WAN technologies and ITIL essentials. You will help manage and maintain server infrastructure and clients within the client network environment - Ensuring that availability is within defined service level agreements and performance is maintained to an acceptable level. You will provide 2nd line troubleshooting - Supporting the Service Desk in maintaining the office and production environment providing assistance and training whenever required. From a security stand point, you will ensure systems are implemented and maintained in a way that retains the integrity of the data and access to it. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of GMP/GLP practices and their influence on systems development and validation is required.
