Press and Publicity Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile public sector client of ours, based in Bristol. A Press and Publicity Officer is required to help respond to media enquires and highlighting any topics that may cause issues. You will also be responding for producing press releases, statements and arranging briefings for all interviews.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivery of consistent messages for a range of audiences, helping to raise public awareness
- Effectively communicating the client's aims and key messages through the media
- Working closely with journalists
Essential skills/experience:
- Experience in media handling/relations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Editing experience
- Tailoring communications to suit the audience
- Transport/public sector experience (desirable)
