Description
SEC and a global IT Consulting Company are working together in the search and selection for an Software Architect J2EE for one of their international projects in Spain.
You should have experience in:
* Demonstrable, strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to propose suitable architectural solutions
* Experience of developing architectural roadmaps.
* Experience in SOA solutions on Oracle and BEA platforms.
* Experience of formal architectural methodologies including TOGAF and/or Zachman.
* Experience of developing data intensive, highly concurrent Java applications within a J2EE App Server framework.
* Perfect understanding of how transaction management, messaging and data access works in a J2EE environment.
* Understand common design and architectural patterns used in these types of applications.
* Experience with deployment and packaging strategies for app server based applications
* 4+ years' experience in Java/J2EE.
* 2+ years' experience as Software Architect.
* 2+ experience with Relational Databases specially Informix, Oracle and MySQL.
* Experience with Continuous Integration (Maven, Ant, Hudson, etc ).
Besides, we are ideally looking for a candidate that acomplish the following requirements:
* Strong capacity in preparing and writing documents.
* Have a good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
* Excellent reporting methods
* Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks, and ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Have knowledge of MS Office, MS-Project and Visio.
* Applicants must have an excellent command of written and oral English (both will be tested).
English language skills are a must. (Spanish is not essential)
This is an on-going contract based in Alicante. This position could be offered as permanent.
