1) Quality review BIA - CRA

A. Context
The client central team has organized the Business Impact Assessment (BIA) and the Continuity Requirement Analysis (CRA) in all the client entities.
The results are now recorded in a central database, but must be reviewed with the client entities: quality, relevance and coherence of the information.

B. Objective of the mission:
Support the BCM central team to perform the quality review.

C. Deliverables:
1) Participation in 3 meetings with the Business (one pure banking business (retail or corporate banking) + one Back Office (Operations) + one support (Finance or Risks)
2) Understand the issues, and deliver a methodological document (3 to 5 pages) to support the BIA/CRA review that can be re-used by the BCM team for the review of all other entities
3) Identify the current BIA/CRA structural weaknesses and propose remediation actions (3 to 5 pages) in order to facilitate the BIA/CRA exercise of 2013 (avoiding to have the same issues in 2013).

2) BCM Quality approach

A. Context
The BCM central team (i) defines the BCM methodology based on the client Group and international standards and (ii) coordinates a network of Business Continuity Officers
BCO) in the Bank. The BCOs apply the methodology and deliver the standard BCM documentation (BIA, light RA, CRA, BCP, BRP, DRP,CMP).

B. Objective of the mission:
Support the BCM central team to define a quality approach/quality plan applicable to the BCM activities and documents, with a special focus on the more risky entities/activities.

C. Deliverables:
1) Understand the client BCM practices, including the controls already performed
2) Define an actionable BCM quality approach/quality plan (including some metrics) that can be set-up within client (word document up to maximum 10 pages + Powerpoint presentation).
3) Apply this approach/plan to one of the Business Unit to ensure the feasibility of the approach/plan (with illustrative data).
