Description

Recruitment Co-Coordinator required for a major Public Sector organisation based in Central London. The role is until 31st March 2013 offering a daily rate of £.

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, you shall assist the recruitment team in attracting and promoting the best and most diverse talent so that the organisation has the capacity to undertake its full range of work.

Responsibilities:
* To deliver recruitment services in a professional, responsible, timely and cost effective manner by managing and prioritising face to face, email and telephone enquiries
* Demonstrate a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
* Engage, enable and challenge managers to manage their staffing requirements effectively by providing accurate and timely advice and guidance on recruitment policies and procedures
* Present and communicate clear and concise information in response to queries and deliver outputs on time and to the agreed standards

Other duties:
* Run 'day one' induction sessions
* Prepare employment contracts/references and carry out all other standard and non-standard administration tasks related to new starters (External joiners, transfers, loans, secondments, internal permanent promotions etc.)
* Maintain all related HR/Recruitment Intranet sites where appropriate
* Manage accurate data input onto the Recruitment/HR database where appropriate
* Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures
* Production of diversity data and reports for each vacancy
* To create and manage hard and soft vacancy files ensuring all relevant documentation is saved/filed where appropriate
* To ensure the recruitment inbox is monitored at least twice daily for incoming emails, to acknowledge applications and to ensure applications are filed in correct vacancy folder
* To prepare all shortlisting documentation including the creation of individual vacancy tracking sheets and diversity monitoring data
* To prepare all interview documentation and to organise all interviews and assessments as appropriate including room bookings, refreshments and the meeting and greeting of interviewees
* Providing written interview feedback when requested
* Responsible for ensuring all hard/soft files are closed and archived as per process including the completion of end of vacancy reports
* To perform any other HR generalist tasks as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience
* Experience of working as an administrator within an HR/Recruitment function (Essential)
* Previous experience in a public sector/Civil Service environment (Desirable)
* Experience of collating and reporting diversity data (Desirable)

Knowledge
* Working knowledge of e-recruitment systems (Desirable)
* Understanding/Knowledge of civil service (Desirable)
* Basic knowledge of employment legislation (Desirable)

Skills
* Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Essential)
* Organisational Skills - Ability to organise several projects/campaigns simultaneously and adopt a flexible approach when required
* Results orientated and able to work to defined deadlines
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Capability in process definition and setting in line with policy and legislation.
* Ability to work within a team
* Good English language skills both written and oral with the ability to write clear grammatical letters and documents
* Ability to build and develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders
