Agile Coach/Scrum Master 6 month contract, c.£475 - £550pd Location.*Manhattan*,.*New York* all travel & accommodation expenses paid.
A unique agile coach and elaboration opportunity to join a prestigious Management Consulting firm. As a motivational facilitator & coach with a strong appreciation of delivery, you will successfully direct the utilisation of agile & lean initiatives, enabling customers to effectively change and bridge the gap between business and IT, within Real Time workshops and live facilitation sessions.
Through the provision of a blend of agile & lean techniques and systems thinking, we strive to inspire change, promote excellence and achieve objectives through quality delivery. You will be expected to guide the facilitation and elaboration process, helping improve how our clients create and deliver software products. To do so, it is essential that you possess strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to work in a robust enterprise environment, achieving maximum productivity for the client.
Not only will you be able to verbalise and demonstrate your ideas in a coherent manner, but it is vital that you have a natural ability to engage with multi-dimensional teams, including principal level business stakeholders, technologists and lay audiences, in an enthusiastic and supportive manner.
You will ideally have previous exposure to software development or enterprise level build teams, pioneering the transition and adoption of agile & lean techniques that may include Scrum, TDD & BDD. Prior experience of running Workshops and facilitation sessions in conjunction with a supportive delivery team around you will help ensure that vital project elements are communicated and effectively elaborated upon.
The ideal applicant will be knowledgeable regarding agile methods and becomes enthused when communicating and introducing the benefits of such processes to inexperienced agile teams. You will also be proactive in utilising agile methods to aid those outside the team, emphasising collaboration and promoting team work. An appreciation of business analysis, requirements gathering or enterprise architecture would be beneficial to the elaboration process.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated facilitator to share their appreciation of the agile philosophy, helping the evolution of new agile teams within an array of verticals, including media, broadcasting, finance, telecommunications and government. This position may suit a Delivery Manager, Agile Business Analyst or Product Owner that is familiar with scenario elaboration and bringing the best out of people.
