Description
A Senior Procurement Manager is required for a contract role based in Northampton, with some travel to Cambridgeshire, for a 19 month duration.
The Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement for the design and build of a new office complex, as well as of major capital construction projects, including defining, developing and delivering successful procurement contracts.
The ideal candidate will have:
Procurement experience of leading large complex projects, including construction contracts
Experience of project management for complex procurements
Experience of project management for constructions projects, including knowledge of Building Information Model (BIM)
Relevant qualifications, eg CIPS and Prince2
Knowledge of procuring under EU Procurement Legislation
Understanding of risk management
Public sector experience would be beneficial
