Description
Leading Global Solutions Provider requires an IMS System Programmer for a long term contract role based in Dublin. You will perform detailed performance and capacity analysis assessments of current workloads across a number of z/OS based transactional systems (IMS, MQ & DB2) with a view to recommending and implementing configuration improvements to facilitate projected increased workloads to meet customer requirements. You will work closely with the account project team and customer to establish capacity requirements, develop a structured plan and approach to implement required infrastructure changes.
You will have a minimum 7 years system programming skills in IMS, WebSphere MQ and DB2 and experience and working knowledge of IBM Tivoli Omegamon (IMS. MQ and DB2) Experience of IMS and DB2 InfoSphere products. IMS Knowledge-Based Log Analysis tool such as MQ Supportpacs and experience of IMS, MQ & DB2 performance & capacity analysis skills.
