My Leeds based client urgently require a QA Reviewer for an initial 3 month contract. The main responsibilities for this role will be to conduct client file reviews on a number of retail investment products, predominantly focusing on investments, pensions, protection and mortgage,. as part of the Quality Assurance programme and a Past Business Review. This is to ensure the group of regulated firms operates consistently with the guidelines of the FSA and other governing bodies. You will also be responsible for notifying the QA Manager of any issues and requirements in relation to FSA regulation rules or updates.

To be considered for this role you will require:

Essential:

* Minimum of 5 years experience within a regulated or financial services environment.
* Relevant industry qualifications, including QCF Level 4 and G60 or equivalent.
* Good interpersonal relationship skills;
* Evidences positive team working and collaboration;
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment in the UK, and in particular FSA regulation;
* Well organised, readily able to work to agreed, sometimes challenging deadlines;
* Effective communicator with good written and oral communication skills;
* Flexible and supportive approach to working practices;
* Good PC skills (including MS Office);

Desirable:

* Experience of working in a compliance, audit, legal or risk function;
* Previous experience of reviewing Occupational Pension Transfers or Enhanced Transfer Values.
* Working knowledge of Business operations and practices;
* Good PC skills in a range of relevant system applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
