The JDC Group is recruiting for a Network Engineer for one of our premier Atlanta clients. The job title is simple, but there is nothing ordinary about this opportunity. This is a true technology organization who works on the cutting edge and is a household name. Qualified candidates will possess a diverse networking background that includes both design and "hands-on" skills.In particular, we are searching for candidates with experience working within a carrier environment and are strong with Cisco Routers and Switches including Nexus 7K and 5K. In this position, you will be analysing orders and conducting installations ("out of box into the infrastructure and make it work"), and investigating, planning and executing new network architecture and tools.
If you possess 7-10 years of overall network engineering experience that includes Cisco routing and switching/VOIP/BGP/MPLS then we want to talk to you.
Finally, candidates will be working on Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing protocols, so CCIE/CCNP certifications are a plus. This is a 6-month contract consulting opportunity that will extend based on performance
