-Top 3-5 required skills: Instructional design (adult learning theory blended learning), self motivated-independent, works efficiently and effectively under tight timelines
-Top 3-5 daily responsibilities: Daily focus on producing effective & innovative materials, ensuring timelines are met, and partner with operations.
-Desired skills: Designs and develops effective and innovative training materials supporting Medicare with the release of a new multi-million dollar software platform. Training materials include participant guides, facilitator guides, visual aids, activities, and assessments derived from technical manuals and Medicare guidelines. Identify and build appropriate measurement tools for assessing training effectiveness and application after training has been conducted. Requires strength in both analysis (job and task analysis, content sequencing, etc.) and design (creating innovative and engaging learning activities, page layout and design, visual asset creation). Able to produce top quality work, manage multiple projects, work quickly, and maintain a sense of fun in a fast paced business environment. Can professionally work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes.
-Type of background you are looking for at least 5 years of full time instructional design experience
extensive contract experience and can adapt and assimilate quickly in new environments
-BA or MA in Instructional Design or commensurate degree
-Expert in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
-Prefer experience in Captivate, Articulate and RoboHelp
-Size of the team - Training team - 5; Medicare team -200
-Information on the project
-Assist in creating effective educational materials and resources for a new multi-million dollar software platform for clients Medicare line of business.
