Maritime Project Manager - 12 months contract
Hampshire
Rate Negotiable depending on techincal and managerial ability
My client requires a Marine project manager located in Hampshire, with some travel to Madrid and also other site locations as needed. You will require experience in projects in the sector of: Maritime traffic control, security or defense.
You will have at least 2 years Management experience;
- Management of relationship with key suppliers and customer.
- Experience in project management: planning and execution control including coordination of IT and comms installation, civil engineering and maintenance.
- Reporting to program manager director.
- Experience in Health & Safety British rules.
- Experience in FIDIC conditions of contract (design-build, electrical and mechanical).
Technical Skills: Security, defence and maritime systems (at least 2 years of experience):
- Experience in some of this technologies: radar, CCTV, AIS, GMDSS and MW communications.
- Virtualization software: VMware or similar.
Fluent spoken and written Spanish is a desirable.
Degree: Preferable Telecommunications or Computer science engineer.
